Just wanted to let you know that this store (Inverness Highway 41 N #00255) does NOT accept Target coupons. We tried though. Thanks for the great website!

I also found they would not accept Target coupons. All they accept are Winn Dixie, Walmart and Sweetbay (no non-grocery stores like drug stores or Kmart).

They also accept Save A Lot coupons. I have used the $5 off $20 coupons from save-a-lot.com as well as the ones from the Jacksonville Entertainment book.

I stopped at my local Publix in Inverness, FL today (11/4/2010) to purchase 5 of the Rubbermaid Easy Lid Finder containers 5 cup size for $.39 each ($2.39 – $1 Manufacturers coupon – $1 Publix coupon = $.39). The cashier called the manager over and she told me that I was only allowed to use one Publix coupon per visit. She said they did not want to drive their suppliers out of business by selling their products below cost and that customers should only take one of the sale flyers. They also will not accept 2 manufacturers coupons on a BOGO deal if the coupons total higher than the BOGO purchase price (even by $.01). They will only accept one of the manufacturers coupons and refused to even reduce the value of the second coupon to eliminate the overage. WOW – and this use to be a great store to shop at, no more!

All of the Publix stores in Citrus County, FL have changed their coupon policy. They do not allow coupon overages and the Inverness store does not allow the use of multiple Publix coupons on multiples of the same item (only one allowed per customer as YOU SHOULD ONLY BE TAKING one sales flyer per customer or printing out one Publix coupon per customer). The best local Publix store for couponing is their new store in Ocala (just north of the Walmart on 200):
8075 SW Highway 200 Unit 111
Ocala, FL 34481-7823
They accept Winn Dixie, Sweetbay, Dollar General, Save-Alot, Walgreens, CVS and Target competitor coupons. They allow coupon overages and even give you store credit if your total bill comes out negative! They allow one manufacturer coupon to be used along with one Publix OR Competitor coupon on each item including both items in a BOGO deal. They do not have a limit on the number of Publix sales flyer coupons a customer can use in one visit. The only thing they don’t do is accept any expired coupons.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! This is the most coupon unfriendly Publix I have ever shopped at. Made the mistake of stopping here on 10/4/12 and they told me in order to qualify for the $10 off $50 gas card, I had to purchase $50 worth of groceries AFTER coupons are deducted not before coupons like every other Publix. Also, in order to use a $5 off $35 Sweetbay coupon, I had to purchase $35 worth of groceries AFTER coupons are deducted. The poor Clerk was going by a note that Management had taped to the registers. I called the Manager over and she said the gas card policy was wrong and allowed the purchase. However, she would not budge on the Sweetbay coupon.
