I was wondering…can you use the “Food Lion” generic coupon on “Publix” generic item? This might be wishful thinking, but I was curious! Don’t feel bad…I can’t use the $x off of $y bakery/produce coupons at my Publix either!
My store in Smyrna, TN has let me do this. I got two pack of hot dog buns free with a Food Lion coupon. But they are very generous with their coupon policy at my store. So I am not sure it is this way everywhere.
I was wondering does the $2 off bakery also work for just regular bread even if it is not baked in the publix bakery?
Melissa – do you go to the one on Sam Ridley? I was told they don’t accept ANY Food Lion coupons.
At my local Publix you can use a store brand coupon for the Publix’s brand version. Neither Harvey’s nor Publix is taking the $5 off coupon anymore.
Does anyone from Florida in the Tampa area, know if our Publix considers Food Lion an competitor? Thanks in advance if you know.

Yes, any Publix I have been to, Gunn/Anderson, Dale Mabry etc. all take food lion.
