I wanted to remind you all to sign up with the various programs offered by Publix. I was thrilled to find a birthday card for my soon to be 4 year old from the Publix Preschool Pals program. The card also included 8 great coupons for me 🙂 Here is the info for their programs (in case of future need–you can find this info via the FAQ’s tab at the top of the site)
If you have children, I would strongly recommend you enroll your kids–you can do it online and it is very simple. Go HERE to enroll in the Publix Baby club if you child is under the age of two (or if you are expecting) and HERE to register your 2-4 year old in the Publix Preschool Pals program.
Publix has three different magazine that they will send directly to you several times per year. These magazines are filled with great articles, recipes and COUPONS!

I received a few weeks ago a cute children’s size apron for my little girl (went perfect with the play kitchen she received for Christmas) from Publix. Back during the summer she received an Octopus bath puppet from them as well. These gifts almost always have coupons.
The baby club coupons were GREAT!! 1.00 off product, 1.00 off diary, free products etc.

I saw the M&M’s on sale at my Publix in Metro Atlanta. I went back today with my coupons and scored four free M&Ms and $1.00 overage to boot! Thanks so much for the tip.
Are the clearance items in a certain place,or are they in their regular spot & marked clearance?
There is a clearance shelf at my Publix for many clearance items (tho some clearance items are in their regular shelf with a clearance tag). It’s a standalone shelf near the pharmacy in my case though I’ve seen it off in other areas at other Publix stores. Typically the clearance items are marked 1/2 price so you can score some good deals using coupons. Just ask your CS where the clearance rack is.
I’d love to know which Madison, AL store that was. The Athens, AL store won’t allow a competitor’s and manufacture’s coupon on the same item.
My store had a “clearance” sign on the M&M’s but they were still the same price they’ve always been :-\ idk…
preschool pals sent us an educational preschool cd-rom. my kids loved it. i wish i signed them up when they were even younger.
if you don’t live in an area where there is a piublix, could you still sign-up for it?
My store-7 Hills-also had a “clearance” sign,but the were $3.49 EACH.I had them scan them at Cust.Svc. & they rang up regular price!I asked why they had the “clearance” sign & I was told that if u look close it says “while supplies last” under the “clearance”!!She said that means they won’t b carrying them anymore!!That’s FALSE advertising if u ask me!!!That’s just WRONG!!!!!
Pace Publix did not have the M&M on sale either. But they did have a “clearance” sign on them but they were the normal price. Yuck.
