It is quite rare that I get to relax and read a book with a 2 year old and 3 year old running around.  Luckily I did get a few minutes here and there and am so glad as I got the opportunity to read a wonderful book.  I just finished reading Pick Another Checkout Lane Honey. This book is by Joanie Demer and Heather Wheeler –the wonderful gals over at The Krazy Coupon Lady. Â
They have done a phenomenal job with this book and I love the fact that they show you that you can still be stylish and savvy while saving money!  They offer a step by step guide to teach you all the tricks of the trade.  They write with such charm and humor–I swear some of their real life examples are a page from my past couponing experiences!!  I think this book is a must have for any new couponer and can even teach an old pro a thing or two!  The best part is that this is a fun read!  I caught myself laughing out loud at times–seriously this is a great book!

I always try giving a coupon or two to the guy or gal behind me in line if it is a big coupon order – easy to look through my box quickly just by looking into their cart – gives them a little patience when you give them $1-2 dollars off their order

I am a “newbie” and just getting started. I always “cut” coupons- but recently went to a class to take it to the next level. I was so excited yesterday when I saved over $ 50.00 at Publix yesterday- which put me at 50 % savings. I really love your website, and all the tips from the other coupon fanatics!! Its like a challenge!!! and saving $$ is the best part!!

Sounds like a great and very helpful book and I love the title too. I’d love to win it and give it to my mom. I really want to be able to help her more w/couponing and saving, she’s on a very limited budget and it makes me sick how much $ she spends at the grocery store, but it’s hard to help her save much because I can’t teach her to shop “our” way instead of the “this is what I need right now” way, especially since my dad always throws a bunch of stuff at her to add to the list when she’s getting ready to go the store. (Which is why he isn’t allowed to do the shopping himself, he’s very impulsive). Anyway, I think it would help her to have something in writing. I am very sorry, I did not mean to write a big long rant!

My sister in Georgia got me into couponing like a year ago, like most people I was skeptical and told my sister “why would i want to waste so much time just to save 25 cents?”. So I was not interested. So she literally had to ‘force’ me to try couponing by sending coupons all the way from GA to FL. The very first coupons she sent were Electrasol $2.50 value coupons. Then she called me and gave me step by step instructions. So I was at Target, picked out 5 boxes of Electrasol and only paid like $5 bucks, I could not believe it! I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!
And 6 months ago I lost my job as the company closed down. I am still unemployed but the IRONY is I am a jobless housewife BUT with couponing, I EAT and LIVE BETTER than before!
