Greta has your Rebate Roundup this week. Looks like another great week! Go HERE to see all of Greta’s finds!
Here is a great option for the Brawny Paper towels
Buy 11 Brawny 2 roll (essential price of $1.99 through today only –maybe??)
Use 11 $.50/1 (doubles to $1)
Pay $10.89
Submit for $5 Georgia Pacific MIR
Like paying $5.89 for 22 rolls of paper towels or .26¢ per roll.
If you wait and do the deal after the Essentials price ends….I am not sure what the price will be but even if they go to $2.50 you still have a good deal:
Buy 8 Brawny 2 roll (possible price $2.50???)
Use eight $.50/1 (doubles to $1)
Pay $12
Submit for $5 Georgia Pacific MIR
Like paying $7 for 16 rolls of paper towels or .44¢ per roll.
NOTE–several of you have emailed me about the requirements listed on the MIR: Purchase $20 or more (excluding sales tax and after all discounts and credits have been applied; gift cards may be used) To be safe –I will purchase the items with my other groceries to ensure my total is over $20 to avoid any issues 🙂
The 2-roll pack of Brawny is regularly priced $3.69 here. It was a great deal when it was on the Essentials sale for $1.99 and the $.50 coupon doubled made them $.99.
The $1.00 printable and $.50 off Vanity Fair napkins from the inserts might also be great coupons to use to help reach the $20 total for the GP MIR. The VF napkins haven’t been BOGO in a while and I’m hoping they go BOGO before the MIR deadline of 4/18.
I have read the terms and conditions of this rebate over and over http://www.gp.com/everydayessentials/tc.html
and they say:
Purchase $20 or more (excluding sales tax and after all discounts and credits have been applied; gift cards may be used)
I could be totally wrong, but I took this to mean I must spend $20 after coupons/discounts, so my challenge was to get the most that I could for $20. I just want to make sure everyone gets their rebate 🙂
Here is what I got:
(4)Brawny big roll packs of 6 at Kroger which are part of the Mega event – $5.99 each
(2)Vanity Fair napkins on sale for $2.29 each at Kroger
used
(4)Speed Stick deodorant -$1.50 each Mega Event
– $4 Mega Event
-(4) .50 off Brawny
-(2) .50 off Vanity Fair
Total after coupons but before tax $24.54 ($4 of that was deodorant)
I agree with Judy…I believe that the total must be $20 after all discounts in order to qualify for the rebate.
The $5.99 sale was over at my publix, but customer service gave me a rain check for the Brawny and the $2.50 windex.
I always do a separate transaction to make sure the total was over $20 with coupons.
