I have been thinking what would be the best way to celebrate I Heart Publix first birthday…at first I had planned a one day giveaway-o-rama but, I think I am going to make it a week long celebration!!
I also just noticed that I Heart Publix has over 10,000 Facebook fans!! I had already planned to do a giveaway once we hit that milestone…so all I can say is– LET’S PARTY!! I hope you guys will have fun this week –I can’t wait!

My husband lost his job as a teacher at the end of last school year and has been unable to find employment since. Congratulations on your one year anniversary with this site. Your site and one other are the only ones that I keep up on my computer all day and tell others about at Publix when they marvel at how much money I’m saving. These people try to compliment me and tell me how smart I am to figure all this out and I quickly tell them that it’s not me at all. Congratulations! I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciate your site! We adopted two children last year and I chose to quit my job to stay home with them. My husband and I have been working hard learning how to work with only one salary and you have made all the difference with us learning how to work on a limited grocery budget. I use to spend well over $100 a week on just the two of us. Now, it’s amazing what I can do with $40 a week for a family of four. Thank you!!!

I have to thank you for making publix shopping easy and fun. People ask me how I do it and go get all the credit. I cannot even tell you how many times I have given your info out to friends, family, cashiers, and random people in line. I also tell my college students about your site, as most of them are impressed with my money-saving strategies. I’ve though about getting cards made with the website info 🙂
